The time to winterize is here!

This is the time of year when a lot of our customers start to put there units away. Don’t let the cold weather sneak up on you and make an appointment. We our winterization options you can get as much or as little taken care of by us as you like.

Our basic RV winterization will take care of your units fresh water system. We will drain your fresh water tank and water heater, by pass the water heater and blow the system out with air. We will then use the RVs water pump to pump antifreeze thru the entire fresh water system. Pricing is based on time and material needed to complete the job and starts at .5 hr. plus 1 gallon of RV antifreeze.

Our deluxe towable winterize is designed to help you put your travel trailer or 5th wheel away safely. We include up to 2 gallons* of RV antifreeze and storage chemical with this service. We will perform all of the tasks of our basic winterize along with:

  • Add antifreeze and compatible storage chemical to the waste water holding tanks. No one likes coming back to a smelly trailer in the spring.
  • Check the roof condition. It is important to make sure that your roof is well sealed against the elements
  • Check the side sealant condition. We want to catch any leaks before the can start to cause damage.
  • Check the battery condition. Storing and unhealthy battery over the winter can cause serious damage. The battery can freeze and short out ruining its capacity and usefulness.
  • Check the suspension of the trailer. We want to make sure there is nothing that is worn or ready to fail.

*If the unit requires more antifreeze to complete the winterization there will be and extra charge.

  • Add antifreeze compatible storage chemical to the waste water holding tanks. No one likes coming back to a smelly trailer in the spring.
  • Add antifreeze to all waste water tanks and p-traps.
  • Check the freeze point of the coolant in the engine and generator
  • Check and fill the washer fluid with freeze protected fluid
  • Check the roof condition. It is important to make sure that your roof is well sealed against the elements
  • Check the side sealant condition. We want to catch any leaks before the can start to cause damage.
  • Check the battery condition. Storing and unhealthy battery over the winter can cause serious damage. The battery can freeze and short out ruining its capacity and usefulness.
